After a stressful work in urban area, I decided to have a short vacation in our hometown somewhere in Batangas, Philippines, just to relax and take a fresh air. The following day, it was a delightful morning, I am swaying on a handicraft rattan while native chickens are feeding around when I noticed an antique axe above woods and I realized that my father is still using it and valued this tool. This has been an old norm in our province in cutting woods to be used in cooking. I wonder this axe was inherited from my late Grandfather and still it can break those hard woods into pieces.

Very nice capture! The shading on the axe and wood is remarkable.
