Healing foods for Arthritis
Food is a source of energy and life. Do you know that there are certain foods that are very beneficial to health? Here are some of the healing foods that most of us didn't know its benefits.

Acne
  • Cabbage and its many relatives are all rich in sulfur.
  • Fennel stimulates the liver and improves fat digestion.
  • Garlic is a powerful antibacterial.
Anemia
  • Chicory is a good source of iron.
  • Watercress contains iron, beta carotene and is highly cancer-preventive.
  • Dates provide iron for vegetarians.
  • Red meat provides the most easily absorbed form of iron.
Anxiety
  • Basil, chamomile, lavender and rosemary contain soothing natural chemicals.
Arthritis
  • Avoid red meat. For rheumatoid arthritis: reduce dairy products and avoid potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, and aubergines as well as cucumbers.

Fever

  • An onion is ideal and effective. Baked one in its skin for 40 minutes then finely chopped and mixed in equal parts with honey; take a teaspoon every two hours.
  • Teas made from thyme, sage, oregano, marjoram are antibacterial and antiviral.
  • Garlic crushed with ginger and lemon juice is an excellent general fever remedy.
  • Lemon juice and hot water sweetened with honey makes a great fever medicine for children; give two or three cups during the day, and one at bedtime.
Fluid Retention

  • Parsley is a natural diuretic. Add generously to cooking, as a garnish and in salads. It is also excellent as a tea.
  • Celery is also gently diuretic. Use in juices as well as raw or cooked.
