How to maintain our bone health

How to maintain our bone health
To maintain bone health, we need to improve our diet, get regular exercise, avoid smoking, and limit alcohol intake. We also need to load up on calcium and other essential bone nutrients such as vitamin D, magnesium, and zinc, making bone regeneration more effective. Get these nutrients by incorporating a glass of milk to your daily diet.

We need to keep our bones healthy and strong because we may not realize it, our body becomes vulnerable to wear and tear as we age-especially our bones. Osteoporosis, also called the silent bone killer, puts 50% of Filipinas at risk. As we age, bones get weaker and become more susceptible to fractures and injuries. Coupled with an unhealthy and inactive lifestyle and a genetic predisposition to the disease (Asian women are more likely to get osteoporosis than Caucasian women because Asian women bones are thinner), osteoporosis is something than cannot be ignored.
