Tips to take care of our face

Tagihawat, Acne or Pimples
Looking in the mirror, it seems obvious that you have the ugliest and most noticeable pimples in your school. Before you get too discouraged, consider this: More than 70 percent of teenagers suffer from at least a mild case of acne and up to 25 percent suffer from severe cases.

While the exact cause of acne is still being studied, it is known that certain hormones and oils contribute to the problem. During puberty your sweat glands become more active, producing more perspiration and oil secretions. Your skin pores sometimes fill up pith this oily secretion and become clogged. When the oil can't escape, it becomes hard and forms into blackheads, whiteheads and pimples. There is no guaranteed cure for acne. Though teenagers spend more money a year on acne medications, many doctors say there is no evidence that most of the over-the-counter drugs will shorten or cure the problem. They warn that some acne drugs even have serious side effects for some users.

Skin specialists suggest you wash your face and hair frequently, avoid touching your face, eat a balanced diet and follow your doctor's instructions faithfully. They also point out that acne is normal and usually goes away in a few years.
