Some of my friends asked me “why you make blogs and what are the benefits you get from blogging?”. I told them that I’m earning money and they replied “Really, How? And whether you earn that, how do blogs pay you? Do you receive money already?” (Sigh…) They are asking me a lot of questions…
Well, blogging is actually one of my hobbies nowadays. It started last year and the reason why I’ve got an interest in blogs was because of my officemate. He told me that I could earn money by means of blogging too. So, I asked him what I should do to get started soon. Then he patiently instructed me step by step.
I decided to create a photo blog. Why? I’m not a professional photographer but I’m very passionate on taking photos. I have an extensive collection of photos ever since I got my own camera. Some of the said photos can be seen at my photo blog site at http://www.photodito.com.
Later on, I started again another blog about Living and Wellness. This blog is about some of my experiences about life, news, tips and articles about health, beauty, fitness, technology etc. I always tried my best to share anything about healthy lifestyle, green living, etc. and put it on this blog.
Some of you will notice my grammatical errors. I’m not a native English speaker nor graduated at any English college course. Creating paragraphs and constructing lots of sentences are not my type. I really hate writing business letters and proposals at the company I’m working. I’m a computer course graduate that’s why my interests are more on computers. For quite a while, I studied basic Search Engine Optimization techniques like onsite and offsite optimizations but I stopped. I think it will consume most of my time. Besides, I’m a full time employee and I have spare time only to do such things.
Blogging will not only give you some dollars but you can meet a lot of friends too and I’m glad that I have many blogger friends. I met them from Adgitize, Entrecard, Facebook, Google Friend Connect, Networked Blogs and blog contests. Some of them I've known personally and others are not. It keeps me smiling when I noticed that some of them had left their comments at my site, dropped my entrecard or just visited my blogs.
About money online, one of my friends had challenged me to show to her some of my proofs of payment from making blog. So I said “yeah, sure!” I also told her that I’m not earning big, but at least I’m earning extra money that I can use for other expenses. Wow sis! How were you able to earn from entrecard? All the while, I thought that we can just earn credits through entrecard which we can in turn use to advetise.
Glad that you are enjoying your blogging as well as earning much from it! I used to earn a good sum too before but the ops have somehow dwindled lately. Blogging is always fun anyway with or without paid ops!
