Here is the list of the 10 richest Filipinos according to Forbes Magazine’s survey for 2010.
  1. Henry Sy – SM Group of Companies (SM Prime Holdings, SM Investments Corporation, SM Development Corporation, Highlands Prime Holdings, Banco de Oro Universal Bank and China Banking Corporation).
  2. Lucio Tan - Asia Brewery, Tanduay Distillers, Inc., Fortune Tobacco, Philippine Airlines, Airphil Express, University of the East, Philippine National Bank, Allied Bank and Eton Properties Philippines.
  3. John Gokongwei Jr. - engaged in telecom, financial services, petrochemicals, power, and hog farming. JG Summit is one of his popular companies. He is 83 years old.
  4. Jaime Zobel de Ayala - Ayala Corporation (Ayala Land, Inc., Bank of the Philippine Islands, Globe Telecom, Inc., Manila Water Company Inc., Integrated Microelectronics, Inc. and Azalea Technology Investments, Inc.).
  5. Andrew Tan - Alliance Global Group., Megaworld Corporation, Emperador Distillers Incorporation and Golden Arches Development Corporation (McDonald's Philippines).
  6. Tony Tan Caktiong - owns 1,500 Jollibee stores in the Philippines and abroad. His other source of wealth are Greenwich Pizza, Chowking, Red Ribbon and Delifrance Philippines.
  7. Enrique Razon Jr. – he has an International Container Terminal Services Inc. operates in nine countries, including China, Ecuador, and Philippines.
  8. Beatrice Campos – her late husband Jose Campos cofounded drug firm Unilab, which accounts for biggest portion of family's wealth. Also has controlling stake in Singapore-listed Del Monte Pacific.
  9. George Ty - The founder of Metropolitan Bank and Trust Co. 
  10. Eduardo Cojuanco Jr. - owner of San Miguel Corporation and Bank of Commerce.

they are all chinese in blood.chinese people dominate the phils in business, politics etc. pity for the real filipinos. we are just workers and maids of the chinese people.

@Faye: you're right. I dunno if its on their blood for being such a hardworking and very much dedicated on their work. Maybe they are much presumptuous or brave in having a business.
