Health benefits from eating pepper

The importance of pepper
My mother and my loving husband had worked together in planting herbs and vegetables in our backyard about a year ago. The plants generated an enormous harvest and we consumed the very fresh vegetables we ever had.

There are three varieties of Capsicum planted in our yard like Hot Chilli Pepper and not hot Chilli Pepper but one of my favorite is the Bell Pepper. These have large, sweet, bell-shaped fruit, green, then ripening to red or yellow. This is rich in Vitamin C, but lack of medicinal properties of the hot and pungent peppers. Pepper gives a medicinal property. The hot one is a very effective painkiller. Peppers are antibacterial and also contain vitamins A, C, and mineral salts. Pungent varieties increase blood flow, encourage sweating, stimulate the appetite and help digestion. In some tropical countries they are useful food preservatives and help prevent gastric upsets.
