Over-the-counter remedies for cough, cold and flu

blocked nose

If you already have cough, cold and flu…

Well, you might consider the following over-the-counter remedies to relieve common symptoms:

Blocked nose – A decongestant nasal spray could help reduce any stuffiness.
Cough – Some cough medicines aim to stop you coughing, while others help up mucus.
High temperature – Paracetamol, ibuprofen or aspirin can all help to ease fever, aches and pains.
Sore throat – Throat lozenges increase the amount of saliva you produce, which can help lubricate your throat.

Always read the label. If you are taking more than one medicine for cough/cold, check with the Pharmacist or certified health care professionals that they are safe to take together.
